My School is a non-profit, faith-based early learning center operated by CampusView Church. Since our founding, we’ve dedicated ourselves to providing children with a safe, engaging environment where they can grow and thrive.

Director
Renee Debose, Director, has been at My School since 1999. For most of that time, she was a pre-K teacher and team leader before she became the director in 2018. Ms. Renee has a BA in Early Childhood Education. She has a large family in the Gainesville area and spends much of her free time on family activities. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her goddaughter, Lee'ah.

Level 1 teacher
Renee Perry. Level 1 teacher, came to My School in 1999. Ms.Renee is a Gainesville native and she has earned a CNA and a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential. Ms.Renee loves cats, reading, TV game shows, keeping up with the news and singing. Her favorite vacation spots are the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Appalachian Pkwy.

Level 1 assistant teacher
Geneva Douglas, Level 1 assistant teacher, came to My School in May, 2025. Ms. Geneva is a Hawthorne native who retired from UF after serving 35 years as a supervisor 2. During those years, she also worked in several local preschools. She loves to sing, travel and act in Christian plays. She also loves animals and has five dogs, five rabbits and six cats.

Level 2 teacher
Joanne Bland, Level 2 teacher and assistant director, has been at My School since 1990. Ms.Joanne holds a CDA and is an avid crossword puzzler. She also enjoys working in her yard and the My School yard. She has 4 grown children, 6 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her husband, John, is retired.

Level 2 teacher
Mi’kiara Jenkins (Ms. Diamond). Level 2 teacher, came to My School in 2023 and has a CDA. Ms. Diamond left her big family in south Florida and moved to Gainesville in 2020. She is a former athlete and, especially, enjoys playing volleyball. But, most of all, Ms. Diamond has a love for all children and wants to make early childhood education her life’s work with a goal of having her own preschool someday. She is currently working to attain her Child Development Associate credential.

Level 3 teacher
Jennifer Cannon,. Level 3 teacher, came to My school in 2003 and has a FCCPC(Florida Child Care professional Credential). She loves animals of all kinds, working in her garden and reading. Ms. Jennifer has two children, Piper and Zoey and she is married to Earl, a cardiac pulmonary technician.

Level 2 teacher
Maria Godoy, Level 2 teacher, came to My School in 2001. Maria, originally from Colombia, discovered her passion for teaching at a young age when she spent time with children who couldn't read or write. Taking it upon herself to teach them during summer break, Maria's heart was filled with joy, and she knew that teaching was her calling. After graduating in Early Childhood Education, she moved to the USA with her family and has spent the last 22 years as a devoted teacher at My School. Beyond the classroom, she finds joy in baking, crocheting, exploring diverse cultures, and immersing herself in the world of concerts, musicals, and theater.

Level 2 teacher,
Janette Hall, Level 2 teacher, came to My School in 2023. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and is a mother to three and a grandmother to eight, with two more on the way. Ms. Janette loves traveling, helping people and doing God’s will, especially praising Him through worship, dance and listening to gospel music. Most of all Ms. Janette loves spending time with her family.

VPK teacher
Latoya R. Williams, VPK teacher, has a FCCPC and came to My School in 2023. Ms. Latoya taught preschool in Miami for 19 years. She also worked as a success coach/preschool consultant via her own company, Super Fun Teacher Consulting. She has a passion for children and believes that all children are like empty toolboxes who, when supplied with the proper tools, will be able to build a better tomorrow. Ms. Latoya’s dream goal is to create a legacy of curriculum planning whose brand will be recognized all over the world.

Alicia Renney - Ms. Alicia is the floater/morning assistant and has been at My School since 2016. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and is a Registered Behavior Therapist. She also enjoys singing and spending time with her friends and family, especially her husband Eric and two children.

Former director
Marilyn McCall, former director, has been at My School since 1989. She was the director for over 24 years and was a school music teacher for 9 years and a family child care provider for 7 years. Ms. Marilyn has a Bachelor of Music Education and a National CDA. She is, currently, our music teacher and event coordinator. When she has spare time, she loves to read, play the piano and watch Gator sports. Her three grown children are My School alums and former MS teachers. She has four grandchildren and her husband of 45 years, Mike, is a retired middle school teacher.

Substitute teacher
Chong Ingram, substitute teacher, has been at My School over 30 years. Ms.Chong has a National CDA and is bi-lingual in Korean and English. Her hobbies include needlework, sewing, gardening and cooking yummy Korean dinners. Ms.Chong has a grown son, a husband, Ben, and a granddaughter, Autumn.

VPK teacher
June Wooten started teaching at My School in August, 2011. She has a BA in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. She is responsible for science and math activities, and our gardens. Ms. June enjoys spending time with her two grown sons and four grandchildren.
